2024 Election for Organizational Behavior

OB DIVISION PROGRAM CHAIR-ELECT
Term:  5 years (8/15/2024 - 8/14/2029)

Description: The OB Division Program Chair-Elect will serve a five- year progression through the leadership roles specified in our bylaws. The routine work of the Division Chair Track is as follows: In Year 1, the Division Program Chair-Elect is responsible for conference symposia; in Year 2, s/he will serve as Division Program Chair responsible for conference submissions and planning the program; in Year 3, s/he will become the Division Chair- Elect (responsible for leading ad hoc committees); in Year 4, s/he will be the Division Chair (responsible for strategic leadership and administration of the division), and in Year 5, s/he will be the Past Division Chair (responsible for the Plenary session). In addition to these routine tasks, in each of the five years of the Division Chair track, the person will be responsible for developing and executing strategic initiatives in areas of his/her interest and expertise. Many volunteer roles have been created to allow the people in these roles to work less on administrative endeavors and more on strategic initiatives designed to further the OB Division's goals.
We asked candidates to provide a bio, to explain their prior involvement with the OB Division, and, if they wished to, to make a statement about what challenges and opportunities they felt were facing the OB Division that they would like to address if elected.
