2024 Election for Health Care Management

DIVISION PROGRAM CHAIR-ELECT
Term:  1 year (8/15/2024 - 8/14/2025) Description: This is the entry point to the Division's 5 year leadership cycle. Also known as "PDW Chair." The main responsibility of the Division Program Chair-elect/ PDW Chair is to: (a) Coordinate (develop and select) the Division's Professional Development Workshop (PDW) program at the Academy of Management's annual meeting (including the Emerging Scholars Consortium). (b) After the conclusion of the year's annual meeting, the Program Chair-elect/PDW Chair will assume the position of Program Chair (developing and coordinating the scholarly program) at the conclusion of the subsequent year's annual meeting (and then the Division Chair-Elect, Division Chair, and Past Division Chair in succeeding years). ACADEMIC-AT-LARGE
Term:  2 years (8/15/2024 - 8/14/2026) Description: The Academic-at-Large shall: (a) Represent the views of our diverse academic members at Executive and Business meetings and work to make the division inclusive (b) Participate in the committees selecting awards for papers (e.g., Best Paper) presented as part of the scholarly program, (c) Work with the Research Committee to develop a research- related session for the Professional Development Workshop at the annual meeting, and (d) Perform such additional duties as may be requested by the Division Chair. PRACTITIONER-AT-LARGE
Term:  2 years (8/15/2024 - 8/14/2026) Description: The Practitioner-at-Large shall: (a) Represent the views of the diverse practitioner members at Executive and Business meetings and work to ensure the meaningful inclusion of all practitioner members in the division's activities, (b) Serve on the committee to select the best Theory-to- Practice Paper Award, (c) Engage practitioners in the annual meeting, and (d) Perform such additional duties as may be requested by the Division Chair. GLOBAL REPRESENTATIVE-AT-LARGE
Term:  2 years (8/15/2024 - 8/14/2026) Description: The Global Representative-at-Large shall: (a) Represent the perspectives of members from the full geographical range of division members, (b) Participate in selecting the best paper to nominate for the Dexter Award, (c) Advise the executive committee on bringing global perspectives and participation into all aspects of divisional activity, and (d) Perform such additional duties as may be requested by the Division Chair.
