DIVISION PROGRAM CHAIR-ELECT AND PDW CHAIR
Term:  5 years (8/15/2024 - 8/14/2029)

Description: The Program Chair-Elect serves as the PDW Chair and has the following responsibilities: 1) plans and programs all Division pre-conference activities for the 2025 AOM Conference, including the professional development workshops; 2) works with consortium leaders in planning the doctoral consortium and/or the junior faculty consortium; 3) works with the Program Chair and the appropriate members of the Executive Committee to publicize pre-conference activities and to otherwise maximize communication with AOM members regarding Division pre-conference activities; 4) serves on the Division Executive Committee; and 5) coordinates activities with the Division Chair and performs such duties as may be assigned by the Division Chair or AOM PDW Chair. The person elected to this position enters a 5-year sequence of roles, starting as the 2025 PDW chair, then serving as the 2026 Program Chair, followed by a year each as Division Chair-Elect, Division Chair, and lastly as Immediate Past Division Chair. Thus, this position entails an active five-year commitment to DEI Division leadership and requires that the person work to ensure not only exceptional member-valued activities at AOM conferences but also throughout the year, as well as setting and implementing strategies for the growth, sustainability, and impact of the DEI Division.

REPRESENTATIVE-AT-LARGE TO EXECUTIVE COMMITTEE
Term:  3 years (8/15/2024 - 8/14/2027)

Description: Representatives-at-Large, as essential participants in the division's governance, have the following duties: 1) Chair of at least one standing or ad hoc committee during each year of their three-year term; 2) Serve as a member of at least one standing or ad hoc committee during each year of their three-year term; 3) Respond to requests for assistance from the Division Officers; 4) Work to meet AOM designated deadlines for the completion of tasks; 5) Keep the Division Chair updated on committee activities; 6) Communicate with the division membership as appropriate, identifying and publicizing as appropriate volunteer or service opportunities for DEI members; 7) Adhere to principles of due process and good governance, maintaining committee documentation for subsequent chairs, and identifying and discussing with the Executive Committee potential process innovations and initiatives to improve member value and the sustainability and impact of the DEI Division. Each year there are a total of 4 Representative-at-Large positions to be filled.
